Digital Scrapbooking Tips!
Proofing (test printing) your scrapbook pages:
Combining the elements for a traditionally made scrapbook page can be a little bit trickier than creating the whole design on your computer. Here's a tip you might find helpful and will save on your color ink cartridges and paper too!
Layout every thing in your layout software program but before doing a high quality color print, make a black & white proof print first. Proof print on regular inexpensive paper. Many inkjet printers will also let you print in draft mode which is even faster and uses less ink.
If you are printing out clipart that you will cut out from the paper, do a rough trim on the black & white pieces and arrange them on your scrapbook page. If everything looks good, go ahead and do your final print. But, if something wasn't quite right, adjust it in your layout program and do another proof print!
