Duplicating Images:

Here's an easy way for duplicating clipart images that works with practically any layout program:

1. Click on the image you want to duplicate so that it the selected (active) element on your scrapbook page.

2. Under your layout program's Edit menu, select the "Copy" command. (This will copy the image to your computer's memory.)

3. Under your program's Edit menu, select the "Paste" command. A copy of the image will be pasted into your document! Some programs will paste the second image right on top of the first so you may need to click and drag the second image to the side in order to see the original.

Note 1: If you need to make a number of copies of the image, just keep using the "Paste" command. Each time you select the "Paste" command another copy of the image will be pasted into your document.

Note 2: Many layout programs have a "Duplicate" command. This does the same thing as a "copy and paste" except that it does it with only one command.
